While               the               float               was               in               the               water,               she               seemed               attracted               to               the               bright               yellow               colors               and               tapped               and               patted               on               the               float               a               lot.

The               float               worked               fine               with               no               leaks               and               plenty               of               room               to               lift               her               in               and               out.

We               used               this               float               for               an               entire               summer               and               never               once               had               any               problems               with               it.

There               is               also               a               repair               patch               kit               that               comes               along               with               the               float               just               in               case               of               a               hole               or               leak.

However,               we               never               had               to               use               it               even               once.

The               float               remained               sturdy               and               kept               its               bright               color               despite               many               many               hours               out               in               the               sun               and               in               the               pool.
There               are               a               few               things               about               this               float               that               I               thought               could               be               improved               upon.

Although               my               daughter               loved               the               bright               yellow               color,               I               thought               there               could               be               something               extra               added               to               keep               her               attention.

We've               owned               floats               before               that               had               little               toys               attached               to               the               front               where               babies               could               play               with               them               while               swimming.

This               float               offers               no               kind               of               attached               toy.

Also,               there               are               not               handles               on               the               side               for               parents               to               hold               on               to,               or               even               babies.

Once               again,               there               were               other               floats               that               had               built               in               arm               handles.

This               made               it               much               easier               to               get               a               grip               on               the               float               while               in               the               pool.

It               wasn't               difficult               to               keep               a               grasp               on               this               float,               but               it               sure               would               have               made               it               a               lot               easier.
                   Recommended?
Considering               the               trying               times               we               had               just               finding               a               float               that               would               "fit",               I               would               recommend               this               to               all               chubby               babies.

Also,               the               fact               that               the               material               is               sturdy               and               we               never               had               one               leak               is               another               reason               I               would               recommend               this               float.

I               have               seen               better               floats               out               there               with               the               little               extras               that               make               floating               a               bit               funner,               but               with               this               one               I               felt               completely               safe.

If               an               emergency               was               to               happen,               getting               my               daughter               out               of               the               quickly               would               not               have               been               a               problem.

So               if               you               can               do               without               the               little               extras               and               a               couple               of               other               trivial               things,               then               this               is               a               great               little               learner               float.
                   A               Few               Warnings
This               float               is               not               a               life               saving               device               and               should               never               be               used               as               one.

Never               leave               the               little               ones               unattended               while               using               the               float.

Always               remember               to               fully               inflate               both               chambers.

Adults               should               always,               always,               always               be               in               direct               reach               of               the               float               while               in               use.

About 'in ground pool pumps'|How to Ground a Pool?

Homes               don't               always               come               with               pools               in               the               backyard,               so               homeowners               are               responsible               for               installing               the               swimming               pool               if               they               want               one.

Of               course,               most               people               just               hire               a               contractor               to               do               the               work.

That               doesn't               mean               that               homeowners               don't               have               some               things               to               consider               before               the               hole               is               dug               and               the               pool               installed.

It's               not               the               cheapest               or               simplest               renovation               project               out               there,               but               it               is               one               of               the               most               beneficial.

On               that               note,               here               are               some               tips               for               getting               that               swimming               pool               installed               behind               your               home!

    1.

Figure               out               how               big               of               a               pool               your               backyard               can               accommodate.

A               backyard               doesn't               need               to               be               gigantic               to               accommodate               a               pool,               but               nobody               wants               to               own               a               pool               that               seems               more               like               a               deep               puddle.

You'll               have               to               figure               out               the               overall               dimensions               of               your               backyard,               figure               out               how               much               space               you               can               dedicate               to               the               pool,               and               then               create               a               basic               blueprint.

Obviously,               you               can't               start               digging               a               large               trench               right               away               because               you               are               bound               to               miscalculate               something               and               end               up               with               no               remaining               backyard               space.

Create               plans               for               a               pool               that               will               take               up               50%               to               75%               of               the               backyard               but               no               more.
                   2.

Consider               doing               an               entire               backyard               renovation               job.

Adding               a               pool               in               your               backyard               will               look               both               odd               and               tacky               if               you               don't               do               anything               with               the               rest               of               the               backyard.

Undoubtedly,               swimmers               will               want               to               get               out               to               dry               off               on               concrete               rather               than               grass.

This               is               the               perfect               time               to               change               the               entire               backyard               by               turning               it               into               a               concrete               area.

You               can               leave               some               grass               and               green               areas               though.

Basically,               you               will               want               to               have               a               large               enough               area               around               the               pool               laid               out               in               concrete               for               chairs               and               areas               to               lay               around.
                   3.

Always               go               with               a               concrete               pool               rather               than               an               above               ground               or               other               option.

There               are               a               few               different               types               of               swimming               pools,               including               concrete,               above               ground,               and               fiberglass               swimming               pools.

Without               a               doubt,               a               concrete               in-ground               pool               is               the               best               option.

It               is               permanent               for               the               most               part               and               won't               suffer               too               many               issues               unless               an               earthquake               strikes.

These               types               of               pools               can               easily               be               equipped               with               filtration               systems               and               other               things.

For               the               most               part,               other               pools               are               much               more               difficult               to               take               care               of               and               maintain.
                   4.

Don't               forget               that               you               will               need               room               for               the               filtration               system               and               more.

For               swimming               pools,               you               can't               forget               about               the               filtration               system               during               installation.

You               will               need               to               leave               room               somewhere               in               the               backyard               to               accommodate               the               filtration               system,               pumps,               and               everything               else.

It               won't               take               up               too               much               space,               but               you               will               be               in               some               real               trouble               if               you               completely               forget               about               leaving               space               beforehand.

Fortunately,               some               filtration               systems               are               pretty               small               and               will               only               take               up               a               few               square               feet               worth               of               space.
                   5.

Consider               doing               some               of               the               work               yourself               or               with               friends.

To               save               money               and               feel               a               little               more               handy,               you               can               do               much               of               the               pool               installation               by               yourself               or               with               a               group               of               friends.

You               will               need               to               dig               the               trench,               which               is               pretty               straightforward               as               long               as               there               are               no               lines               or               pipes               in               your               way               to               begin               with.

Afterward,               the               ground               must               be               leveled               and               secured               so               that               the               pool               won't               end               up               lopsided               or               anything.

In               most               cases,               you               will               want               to               let               a               skilled               person               take               care               of               the               concrete               mold               of               the               swimming               pool.

You               can               do               most               of               the               rest               of               the               work               by               yourself               though.
                   Get               that               swimming               pool               installed!

Fortunately,               it               doesn't               take               months               to               dig               out               a               hole               and               install               a               swimming               pool               -               no               matter               what               materials               are               used.

The               first               step               is               to               simply               make               a               decision,               which               can               be               the               toughest               decision               for               some               people.

Without               a               doubt,               a               swimming               pool               can               be               a               great               addition               to               any               property.

Both               adults               and               children               will               love               being               able               to               take               a               swim               or               relax               by               the               pool               during               the               warmer               months               of               the               year.

You               won't               regret               owning               a               swimming               pool,               especially               if               you               live               far               from               oceans               or               lakes!

For               under               $100,               you               can               purchase               a               12               foot               diameter,               42'               deep               pool               that               comes               with               a               very               efficient               pump               that               that               cleans               the               pool               and               a               ladder               to               get               in               and               out               of               the               pool               Intex               pools               are               virtually               no-brainers               to               set               up.

For               an               extra               $25,               you               can               buy               a               solar               cover               and               pool               skimmer.

Filling               the               pool               will               cost               around               $15               for               water               (rough               estimate).

The               top               of               the               pool               consists               of               an               inflatable               ring               which               keeps               the               pool               in               balance.

As               the               pool               fills,               the               inflatable               ring               rises               with               water               keeping               the               sides               level.

The               pool               comes               with               a               set               up               DVD               but               there               are               some               pragmatic               details               that               are               missing               from               the               instructions.

Follow               this               guide               for               low               maintenance               summer               fun.

Here               are               several               tips               to               keep               your               pool               safe,               fun               and               hassle-free.
First,               select               a               piece               of               grass               or               concrete               for               your               pool.

Concrete               makes               smoother               bottom,               but               children               may               hurt               themselves               more               easily.

Grass               is               softer,               but               the               pool               will               kill               the               grass.

Select               a               spot               in               the               open               and               not               under               trees.

This               will               keep               the               pool               cleaner.

Whichever               you               choose,               be               sure               to               smooth               away               all               sharp               objects,               twigs,               rocks,               etc               to               prepare               the               surface.

Lay               a               tarp               down               and               place               the               pool               on               top               of               the               tarp.

This               will               protect               the               bottom               of               the               pool.
To               fill               the               pool,               inflate               the               ring,               spread               the               pool               base               out               smooth.

Don't               over-inflate,               especially               if               you               are               filling               the               ring               on               a               cool               dry               day.

Warm               humid               air               expands               and               may               burst               your               pool               ring.

As               always               the               instructions               make               pool               set               up               look               easier               than               it               actually               is.

That's               basically               because               the               pool               you               will               be               filling               has               been               squashed               into               a               box               and               is               wrinkled.

This               makes               it               somewhat               more               tedious               to               get               all               the               wrinkles               out               of               the               base.

And               you               want               a               wrinkle               free               base               in               your               pool.

To               make               the               job               easier,               you               can               set               the               pool               in               the               sun               to               warm               the               plastic               and               make               it               easier               to               smooth.

If               you               have               a               yard               full               of               children               eagerly               waiting               to               swim,               you               can               begin               to               fill               the               pool               immediately,               while               doing               what               I               call               I               call               'walking               out               the               wrinkles'.

As               the               the               pool               fills,               have               everyone               walk               to               the               edge               and               around               the               base               smoothing               out               the               wrinkles.
Insert               the               garden               hose               into               the               base               of               the               pool               and               begin               to               fill.

This               can               be               used               to               drain               the               pool               by               inserting               a               disconnected               hose               and               the               adapter               it               comes               with.

This               way,               you               can               divert               the               water               to               your               garden               or               flower               bed.

When               the               water               reaches               a               certain               level               in               filling,               the               pressure               will               force               the               hose               out.

Remove               the               hose               and               place               it               over               the               side               of               the               pool               to               continue               filling.

Keep               an               eye               on               the               hose               to               make               sure               that               it               is               filling               the               pool               and               hasn't               fallen               out.
It               isn't               necessary               to               buy               expensive               pool               filters,               cleaners               or               algae               reducers.

Simply               add               two               cups               of               bleach,               one               for               each               1000               gallons               of               water.

Use               the               pump               filter               regularly               to               clean               the               water.

For               a               small               filter               these               pool               filters               work               quite               well.

Don't               discard               the               filter,               simply               rinse               the               dirt               out               with               your               hose               sprayer               or               kitchen               sink               spray               nozzle.

Place               a               bucket               or               pan               near               the               pool               and               make               everyone               rinse               their               feet               before               they               get               in               the               pool.

    Skim               out               the               pool               daily.

There               is               no               need               to               empty               the               pool               till               fall,               if               you               follow               these               techniques.

You               can               add               a               little               water               occasionally.

Remove               the               ladder               and               cover               the               pool               each               night.

This               will               keep               your               pool               clean               and               others               safe.
For               under               $150,               water               included,               you               will               have               fun               for               the               whole               family               all               summer               long!
